A Successful Kick-Off!

By Paul Summerlin

On Tuesday Feb. 26th, the Neighborhood Ambassadors hosted an introductory event at the Buttercup Market and Café to allow residents from the University district a chance to get to know the Neighborhood Ambassadors and more about the program. Also, this was a way for homeowners and student renters from the area to become more acquainted with each other.

Delicious appetizers and thirst-quenching beverages were prepared by Molly Galusha (owner of the Buttercup Café) and made available for all who attended to enjoy.  While residents and ambassadors snacked on the tasty food and conversed, a challenging trivia made up of questions about Missoula’s history was given to residents to answer for a chance to win a prize. The residents who answered the most questions correctly won a t-shirt, tickets to a Griz game, or a gift certificate to the Buttercup Market and Café.

We appreciate all the neighbors who attended and we hope you will join us at the many events to come. Please feel free to email us any ideas for future events or let us know if you are hosting an event in the community and we will spread the word.

Also, the Neighborhood Ambassador Program gives thanks to Molly and the Buttercup staff for all their help in making this event possible!
